PROJECT MANAGEMENT STEERING COMMITTEE
Every major project under construction is headed by a steering committee formed of the COO, the Project Management Director, and a senior professional in the construction field. The committee intention is to steer the project in the right direction, avoiding the complex pitfalls usually encountered in construction projects and resolving issues between the various project stakeholders.
INVESTMENT COMMITTEE
An investment committee formed of board members and other executives reviews investment opportunities recommended by the origination team of the acquisitions department and, after a critical analysis of and roundtable discussion on such opportunities, provides the green light to proceed with the acquisition.
DESIGN REVIEW COMMITTEE
Design review and management is an essential part of the development management scope of services. Indeed, the concept designs of development schemes is a key element and a major driver of the success of a development project.
At M1 Real Estate, a design review committee formed of members with different backgrounds including professionals outside M1 Real Estate was created to review and assess concept designs and provide comments, recommendations, and suggestions that would align the concept design with the business intent and concept and with M1 Real Estate culture.
